For over 30 years, Mark Twain International School of Bucharest has been
adding value to the national and international education arenas, developing a
strong culture for 21st century teaching and learning.
The Preschool levels at Mark Twain IS function under the same vision and
perspective on education as all the other school levels, guided by the IB
philosophy and approaches while providing a strong foundation to sow the
seeds of education.
For children aged 3 – 12 nurtures and develops young students as caring,
active participants in a lifelong journey of learning.
For students aged 11 to 16, providing a framework of academic challenge that
encourages students to embrace and understand the connections between
traditional subjects and the real world, and become critical and reflective
thinkers.
For high school students Mark Twain International School offers two
possible pathways: National Romanian Baccalaureate and International
Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
